The "to don't" at the moment would be either "1. Don't step on the cat." or a bunch of to-dos in disguise: don't miss an apa deadline, don't skip exercise, don't forget to call the doctor.*
Okay, here's a short list:
1. Don't step on the cat.
2. Since he gets underfoot, don't wear shoes at home unless I have specific reason to (usually that I'm about to go out or have just gotten in). Slippers are okay.
3. Don't overdo the exercise, because that can be hard on the lungs.
* I stopped keeping a to-do list because it didn't get things done, it just made me unhappier about not doing them.
