When I discussed with Sixta that the range of motion is good (as she, Larry, and Apu have told me) but it still hurts, she said that's going to continue until I've strengthened the muscle some more. And then we added a reaching-across exercise. Apu had shown me how to do one of those with the elastic, and then Larry told me I should wait; Sixta said that it's now time to start that. We also discussed keeping the shoulders down and back during exercise, instead of hunching them.
I may not do more than stretches tonight, though: I've had the physical therapy, and I'm still rather wiped out from this lung infection or whatever it is. (I even took the bus to the subway after PT instead of walking up and over Park Terrace East.)
