Ben and Jerry's has come up with a new flavor called "Oatmeal Cookie Chunk." It's cinnamon ice cream with pieces of oatmeal cookies and chunks of chocolate. I was dubious about the chocolate, but the whole combination works decidedly well.

Unfortunately, the container says "limited batch", meaning they probably won't make it for very long. On the other hand, they have an unfortunate habit of dropping the flavors I like even when they aren't labeled that way, so it may not make a difference.

Sadly, since Unilever bought Ben and Jerry's, I can't bring myself to partake any longer.

Luckily, I have Green & Blacks ice cream to console me [even though their website blows chunks], and an ice cream/sorbet maker too. Dunno if you guys have any tree-huggy ice cream down your way, though?

OK, I've maxed out on Buffy and Angel and I should go to bed now...

I'm having some of that right now. It reminds me of an "It's-It (http://www.mistersf.com/new/index.html?newitsit.htm)" ice cream sandwich (not sure how generally available those are outside California, though).
