cattitude's old cell phone, put it in my cell phone (identical model), and it's working fine. Cattitude was surprised--he'd given up that phone because the battery ran down annoyingly fast, and thought that the problem with mine, post-spill, was probably with the phone itself, not the battery.
Also, sinceadrian_turtle dropped me a note about this, while I do have a few numbers programmed into my cell phone, they're all--along with quite a few others--stored in my PDA.
