I woke up this morning with a pain in my hand that I didn't recognize--that is, it wasn't the old chipped bone, nor was it any of the fingers-hurt-from-overuse stuff. But I persevered, with a bit of ibuprofen; headed out when [livejournal.com profile] cattitude did; went to the bank; exercised; lunched in Chinatown; and spent more than I expected at Sahadi. But that's lots of spices and such, plus at least three meals' worth of sausages and pate, along with tea. I should either drink more of the Stash chai spice, or stop buying it, even at Sahadi's reasonable prices.

If any of my local friends need bay leaves or ground cardamom, say the word. (The least I can buy there is one ounce, which is more than I'll use while they're fresh.)

Not a great workout, but a decent one. It might have gone better had I had time for a bit more breakfast, or more than one cup of tea.

I got through 35 minutes on the cardio bike by chatting with someone once I'd run out of newspaper.
