- The Lush lilac-scented bubble bath smells nice, but it made my palms itch. Oh, well, I probably would have had to end that bath with a shower in order to rinse my hair properly anyhow.

- The phone rang three times today:

- The people at the Greenmarket do a good meatloaf, but I suspect Julian and I may be tired of meatloaf in a couple of days. For the moment, I'm happy: meatloaf and a tomato from local farmers, and rye bread from down in Washington Heights. I like living in a big city, and one of the things I like is that there are so many good, tasty, and otherwise interesting things available.
- The extremely cheap subscription to Smithsonian I'm getting (via a coworker) comes with a membership card, which in turn gets me into the Cooper-Hewitt Museum free (most of the Smithsonian is free to everyone). I wonder if they'll have anything I want to see in the next year.
