Yes, I seem to have made a lot of posts over the past year or two about cutting myself slack.
So no, I haven't been to the gym today. Maybe tomorrow. Or not.
I have been to the Greenmarket, though I got there late enough that they had no apple raspberry cider, so I got plain cider. [Note for UK readers: in this context, "cider" is unfiltered, and when I'm lucky unpasteurized, apple juice, not the fizzy alcoholic stuff. Which I also like, now and again.] Still, cider, plums, meatloaf (ready to bake), a couple of apples, and three cider donuts. Proper donuts, not jam-filled cakes.
I just took apple cakelings out of the oven, and I've managed not only to medicate Julian solo (on the second try, after wearing him out a bit with games of chase-the-light; on the first try, I got bitten on the forearm), but I think kept him adequately amused and exercised.
I've also left the radio off today, and gotten what news I decided I needed from news.bbc.co.uk, not anything local.
