I have a PC, with Excel. I have a textbook, and more promised by FedEx tomorrow morning. I do not have to schlep downtown by Metro North (meaning walking over the Harlem River in the cold at this end, who-knows-what confusion, and then a mile from Grand Central to 2 Penn Plaza at the other end). Instead, I can be productive right here in my own apartment. [livejournal.com profile] julian_tiger is pleased to have us here, and I've talked to Edie by phone a couple of times, and emailed her an Excel worksheet.

I had physical therapy this morning. At times like this, I'm glad I picked a physical therapist by proximity to my house. He observed that my triceps and my forearms were tight--I think that's from Sunday's workout, because I hadn't done the wrist curls in a while, and had some difficulty with the triceps pulldowns. He also said I'd been steadily getting better, and then slipped back some about four weeks ago. Thinking about the timing, I suspect that's the result of having moved office, and having a work area that's much shallower, and with my computer almost all the way to the left, so I'm putting all my papers and books to the right, and constantly having to reach right as a result. My desk here isn't ideally set up for what I'm doing for my employer, but it may--once I grab a stack of papers and shove it onto the couch for the workday--be better than what I have at the office.
