Feline weirdness

I just took a nice hot bath, with plenty of bubble bath. Specifically, satsuma scented bubble bath.

I didn't worry when julian_tiger came in--one reason we call him tiger is that he likes water--just ran more hot water to make up for him opening the door and letting the hot air out of the bathroom. He spent a while wandering around the edge of the bath, looking inquisitive and sniffing at it, and I had to knock the bottle of bubble bath on the floor before he could knock it into the bath. Then he reached down and scooped up a bit of foam with his paw.

Cats don't understand "For external use only," and I wasn't quick enough to stop him from licking it off his paw.

At that point, I called cattitude, who removed Julian before he could eat any more of my bath bubbles.

I know he likes tangerine as well as I do, but I hadn't thought it through.

We are mighty

cattitude and I have done quite a bit of cleaning today. In particular, the little dining table [1] is now clear, as is the couch. I'm also making progress on the table in the area off the kitchen that was probably intended as a dining room [2]; in the course of all this, I've found some refrigerator magnets that the cat had hidden in odd places, and restored them to the refrigerator. Between that and the set of animal ones we got at the Biodome, the fridge is quite colorful.

[1] Okay, it started life as a card table, but it fits neatly in the available space and is fine for a two-person household.
[2] We eat in the living room, which is something like 12×20 feet.
