I was going to stay home today. Loosely speaking, at least: walking down to Isham Street to the local Greenmarket doesn't quite count as going out, though maybe it should.
I was sitting at my desk after lunch (I made blueberry pancakes), and noticed something stuck to my right cheek. It was the little plastic nosepad from my eyeglasses, no longer attached to the rest of the glasses.
Without the nosepad, the glasses lean, and give me a headache because tilted bifocals don't correct my vision, they distort it.
Thus, I have just been out and about, by foot and bus, getting the little piece of plastic reattached to my glasses. Tomorrow, I intend to stay home barring further emergencies.
