It took long enough, but I heard a radio commercial this morning for a video phone. The "this is the future" part was that they weren't selling it as "hey, wow, a video phone!" but as "this video phone is easy to set up, and you can make all your long distance calls for one low price."

Two aspirin and a night's sleep seem to have done for the apparent head cold. Completely.
At work this morning, my de facto supervisor praised me for my reliability. And when I told him that I'd been sneezing all of last evening and considered staying home if I'd not felt better when I got up, he suggested that I might as well be miserable in Port Washington, and be paid for it, as be miserable at home for free.
