cattitude and I went shopping for a wall calendar today (there are various uninteresting reasons why we didn't go sooner). Unsurprisingly, the selection was sparse. There were, in fact, exactly two calendars in the bookstore (not two designs, two calendars—each of these was the last of that design) that we liked, and the choice between them was clear. Fortunately, we only needed one calendar, and by procrastinating we also got 75% off.

We also picked up the last Warren Zevon album, My Ride's Here, and then I went to the gym, which was more crowded than I was expecting on a Saturday afternoon: I'd guess a lot of people who would otherwise have gone during the week put it off until the temperature was above freezing instead of way below. I seem to have increased the weight, number of repetitions, or both on almost all my exercises; I hope I'm not too sore tomorrow.
