Having seen one flying, I'm fairly sure the birds whose nest I've been watching are, in fact, ospreys.
I exercised in two parts this time: the mat work before lunch, and the rest at the gym in the evening.
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arches, 3 sets of 17
Yoga tree, 4 sets of {2 on each leg}
Cardio warmup (with a new model exercise bike that I think I need to ask someone to explain to me--it would announce "pausing" at random intervals and leave me pedaling with no resistance for a moment), about eight minutes
Xpressline:
Seated leg press, 365 pounds, 12.
Leg extension, 80 pounds, 12.
Leg curl, 110 pounds, 12.
Lat pulldown, 105 pounds, 12 (with a bit of difficulty).
Overhead press, 45 pounds, 10. (That increase was the idea of Elliot, the fine trainer who encourages me to push myself.)
Vertical chest press, 55 pounds, 12.
Biceps, 45 pounds, 9
Triceps, 50 pounds, 12
Calf machine, 62.5 pounds, 15, 6; 60 pounds, 5. I suspect I shouldn't do another weight machine right after the Xpressline. (And I just now realized that I didn't do my proper stretching.)
