I got back to the gym this morning. I did a good workout, skipping a few things that involve the shoulders or neck, because there's a muscle connecting my left shoulder to my neck that's still a little stiff and tender.
( numbers )I feel it in my forearms; I expect my quads to be complaining tomorrow, but I'm not planning much physical exertion then.
After the exercise, I went down to Chinatown for an early lunch. Duck congee, with ginger and scallion: good, as usual. I came home with a box of grape tomatoes ($1, instead of the $2.50 or more I'm seeing in stores elsewhere), a pound of baby bok choi, and the season's first clementines. I've eaten two. One was a bit sour, the other was just about perfect.
