So
womzilla put up a long, thoughtful post on the way the press gives right-wingers a pass on bigotry. He included a quote from an anti-Semitic sermon by the Rev. Moon.
I asked for a citation, which
agrumer kindly provided, so I could update the Wikipedia page on [[Unification Church and anti-Semitism]]. I expected to be challenged by one of the other Wiki regulars, who is a member of that church. Instead, he thanked me for the update and added that he has trouble reconciling his church's position on that topic. Okay, so it wasn't "you're right, Moon is not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy", but it also wasn't an edit war in which he deleted my material because it doesn't match his beliefs.
So that's one small victory for truth and justice.
