[This feels like a report from Sesame Street News, so try to hear the voice of Kermit the Frog]:

Two fine fat earthworms have successfully moved from a pile of dirt next to the low road to a fine sunny garden under a ginkgo tree. A small patch of mixed clover and grass has also been transplanted, and the new residents are getting to know the snapdragons.

Meanwhile, a police helicopter that had been circling our building is sitting happily in the middle of the soccer field.

I want to cook--there's ground lamb, there's rice, there's all sorts of good stuff.

But cooking is an excuse to play with knives and fire--or, put another way, it requires the use of knives and fire, and I don't think it would be safe right now. I might evade the knives, but not the fire.
