But I think that's mostly the gym stuff; my upper arms seem to have gotten more exercise than usual. Memory agrees with the muscles here.
At something like 10:45 last night, HotJobs sent me email about an opening that actually looked plausible. Having had their entries vanish in the past, I went over, saved the text to a notepad file, did a bit of very quick research on the company in question (mostly to know how to address the cover letter), wrote a cover letter, and sent it off using the HotJobs application setup (meaning with the stored resume). It's for managing editor at a relatively new company that publishes journals aimed at practicing physicians. This could be fun. And it's in midtown Manhattan, meaning I could get to it sanely.
The disadvantage being that Andy walked in (after his job-hunt-related evening) and found me in the middle of this, full of tension (I liked it better when my calf muscles were holding stress, instead of my neck). So I finished that, explained, and then we played Scrabble until we were relaxed enough to go to bed.
