This is a test of posting-by-email (I'm using my actual email, since I haven't sorted out how to send text using my mobile phone). As a bonus, I'll have the PIN stored in my outbox. (I'm doing this because I can--Semagic is more flexible.)
Slept well last night--the same cat who stretched out on my chest to help me sleep woke me with a loud meow, and then hurried over and purred loudly on my lap.
Yesterday's main accomplishment was reading Maureen Barr's Oy Pioneer!, which has quite a few amusing bits and is fairly fluffy. I do think the University of Wisconsin could have afforded a proofreader--words duplicated, paragraphs with no ending punctuation, and obvious spell-checker errors distracted me. (So did the narrator's assertion that it's too difficult to get from Forest Hills to the Museum of Natural History by bus or subway--all you need to do is take the E to 42nd Street and catch an uptown C. I did a messier trip, from slightly further out into Queens, every day for four and a half years.)
