Gym numbers:
Cardio: 33 minutes, top heart rate 151
Hip adduction 115 pounds 13, 11; 105 pounds 15
Hip abduction, 100 pounds, 3 sets of 13
Bench press, 50 pounds, 3 sets of 13; I had to push hard to complete the last two reps in the third set
Seated leg curl, 80 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Adjustable row, 110 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Lat pulldown, 72 pounds, 2 sets of 12. Those two aren't a good sequence, because they seem to not only work some of the same back muscles, but to put strain on some of the same parts of the arm.
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arch with physio ball, 3 sets of 15
Tricep pulldown, 35 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Stretches.
Then I went downtown, let myself in, and found no sign of anything moving except the rabbits. A bit of exploring, and I had to yell "Bad karma! Back in your bag!" because my shoes were being attacked.
Then Trouble appeared, twining around my feet, demanding attention. I made tea and sat down, and found I had a lapful of cat. So I stroked him, and eventually had to shift position. He looked at me, and got onto the arm of the chair for more stroking. Then he slipped back into my lap. That was a thoroughly cuddled cat by the time I got up to water the plants, but on my way out he was rubbing my legs again. Maybe tomorrow I'll grab a book and settle in at length.
