May list: reflections

It's been interesting, and good for me. I thought about my good sides, and my friends told me how desirable some of those attributes are. Doing it this way also gave me a mix of things, from items I would have thought of any time (like 1, 3, 4, and 16) and ones that were sparked by particular days' events (2, 19, 22, 24).


1. I take good care of the people I love.
2. I dealt with an insurance company without losing my temper.
3. I have cool tattoos.
4. I am intelligent.
5. I am, in fact, a Muse of Helpful Information
6. My gardening makes the neighborhood beautiful
7. I am reliable
8. (Books are heavy, but) I am strong
9. I have a large and flexible vocabulary.
10. I like my smile.
11. I am not afraid of languages I don't speak well.
12. I am easily delighted.
13. I can find the holes in flawed arguments.
14. I am good at my work.
15. I am thoughtful.
16. I am a good writer.
17. I am learning to take care of myself.
18. I am a neophile
19. Despite shyness, I organize social events.
20. I indulge and enjoy my wide-ranging curiosity.
21. I notice and point out small delights: violets and egrets and the way the clouds look.
22. I have the sense to go out in the rain.
23. I connect ideas and events.
24. Ursula Le Guin thanked our panel for the insights into the recent Earthsea books.
25. I write haiku and show them to people.
26. I reassure my friends without lying.
27. Sometimes I sing in a group and enjoy myself.
28. I pack well and efficiently when I travel.
29. I am a creative cook.
30. I pick up new tasks quickly.
31. I have beautiful hair and eyes.
