Everything burst out in bloom today, it seemed. Daffodils and forsythia everywhere, the bright apple tree next to the ballfields suddenly covered in bloom, the first violet and the first dandelions--and, two hours later, masses of violets, deep purple and the blue-and-white kind. Three kinds of cherry. The willow noticeably greener when we came down from the hills than when we started up.

Also 85° or so (call that 30 if you prefer °C), and bright sun--and I couldn't resist and went out in shorts and tank top to show off tattoos and enjoy the warmth while the forsythias are still in bloom. So now I have a red patch along my upper back, where the shirt didn't cover it. The universe doesn't give you points for knowing better, if you don't actually wear sunscreen.
