About a thousand words this morning, but about half of that is an interlude that I'm not at all sure I can actually use--mostly an exercise in ragging on a minor character. roadnotes, you might find it amusing--let me know if you want to see it, first-draft and all.

As of just-past-bedtime, 1251 words today, not counting the possibly-unusable chunk mentioned above. It goes slower when I have my characters alone--conversation seems to flow faster than description of either action or internal states.
