Stretches
Near the end of the stretches, I caught the eye of one of the wandering trainers, who had been giving other people advice on form while I was on the leg press machine, and he assured me that he does watch me, and would have told me if he'd seen me doing something wrong. So that was all right.
After the gym, I hopped on the train, and found that neither the daily specials nor the soup at the crepe place I go to sometimes appealed to me, so I got back on the train, returned to midtown, and had a big bowl of noodle soup at Tea Den. Then I went to deposit a check, and was reminded that mid-afternoon on Friday the 31st is not a good time to bank quickly. (I wanted to hand this one to the teller--it was the weird one I wrote about yesterday.) Bus up to Fairway (to spare my knees the subway steps), which still has clementines, then home with them and a few other good things.
