- I got to the drugstore, and am thus well supplied with tampons, deodorant, and shampoo
- I went down to Greuenbaum's and got rye bread, and convinced them not to slice it
- I called a credit card company, and arranged to have them transfer money directly from my bank account, because I realized too late that they needed to be paid by tomorrow, and that a check dropped in the mail that moment wouldn't arrive on time
- I called my mother, sorted out schedules, and sent
papersky email about possible New Year's plans - I wrote a few hundred words for the novel-in-progress, and made notes on possible plot developments
- I cooked a fine turkey curry, with raisins and cranberries--
cattitude prefers raisins, but a curry made of leftover Thanksgiving turkey almost had to have cranberries
I didn't do laundry, or go downtown to the gym and bank--that's now tomorrow's to-do list.

craisins, perhaps?
or should that be cranberries?
I like the craisins, good in oatmeal, too.

You know, I miss Grunenbaums. The bread in Israel is simply fabulous, but I've not found a good source for fresh rye anywhere in Jerusalem.
