cattitude and I are both tense and fragile, but we had to deal with bills and a lease renewal. Assuming that we'll find work around here--if we leave town, breaking the lease here will be the least of our concerns, I think. But since we're tense and money is tight, paying bills is now fraught, instead of a routine "what's come in this week, where's my checkbook" as in good times.
The less said about politics the better.
But I did get through a first pass on the weird "Christian mothers" manuscript, fiddling with spelling and punctuation and wondering idly if putting the Holy Trinity in one's family tree just above Grandpa is considered blasphemy.
