[livejournal.com profile] cattitude says the workouts mean I'm fierce, as well as strong and tough. And they get me out of the house on gray weekends, so I can deposit checks and withdraw cash (two separate things, since it's Sunday so I did my banking via an ATM).

I did the hip exercises starting with two sets in a row on the abduction machine, which didn't work as well as alternating sets of the two machines: Abduction, 90 pounds, 3 sets of 13; adduction, 105 pounds, 3 sets of 15, but I had trouble with the last couple of reps in the second and third sets.

Cardio, 33 minutes, level 8. It took about ten minutes to get the heart rate up to 140, but it was mostly at or over 150 for minutes 16-31, and still around 140 by the end of the built-in cooldown, with a peak at 159.

Bench press, 50 pounds, 2 sets of 13; 45 pounds, 1 set of 13.

Seated leg curl, 60 pounds, 3 sets of 15.

Adjustable row, 100 pounds, 3 sets of 15.

Triceps pulldown, rope handle, 50 pounds, 2 sets of 15. Bar handle, 80 pounds, 1 set of 15.

Mat work: crunches and arches, 3 sets of 15 each (alternating sets), cat-and-camel 5 reps, tree, 2 on each leg.

Leg extension, single legs, 10 pounds, 3 sets of 10 pounds on each leg.

Biceps curls, 30 pound bar (an increase of 5 pounds), 12, 12, 15.

Other than that, I spent much of last night and this morning reading the entire run to date of Ozy and Millie, and laughing out loud.
