Okay, I have the package ready to go for that "consultant" position: a cover letter, the resume, references, and a few writing samples, including the Weblog and the rassef faq. No idea if that will fly, but the RFP did say that one factor in the evaluation would be originality.

What I'm missing is a nice big envelope for all this paper; everything I have is either ancient and with my ex-employer's old return address, or post office "priority mail" envelopes, which would cost at least 2 dollars extra. Time to run out to the drugstore again? Or wait and see what Andy can find at his (about to be ex) office? Napping is probably the wrong answer.
