Recently read:

Bryony and Roses, by Ursula Vernon (as "T. Kingfisher"). An excellent version of the Beauty and the Beast story, with lots of gardening.

Jhereg, by Steven Brust. Reread of the first of the Vlad Taltos books (first in publication order, the only order that really makes sense here, though I suppose you could go for alphabetical). I'd forgotten how much of the Vlad is special background Brust drops into the first book.

What I'll Read Next:

Not sure, maybe more of the Brust more-or-less series.

I want to read Bryony and Roses. Have you read Robin McKinley's Beauty? Which is also a treatment of Beauty and the Beast though with library.

Jo Walton reread the Vlad Taltos books in What Makes This Book So Great, and discussed alternative orders of reading them. I put them on my reread list afterwards (but that list is very long now).

I have a nagging suspicion that when the Vlad series is complete it will turn out Brust was doing something clever that only works if you read them in Cycle order.
