We have changed the name of one of the cats: the very fluffy cat is now Molly. (Her sister remains Kaja.) Now if I can just stop intermittently addressing both of them by Molly's old name....
They are basically feeling well/over their colds, have had their necessary vaccinations, and with any luck won't have to go to the vet for another year.
Molly seems to be mostly happy with being combed, but we still need to learn how to comb her belly and a few other areas, notably her butt.
Molly appears to be a much better exercise assistant than
julian_tiger ever was. I lay down to do a few crunches, and she strolled over, rubbed gently against my left elbow, and purred. Julian had the bad habit of trying to pounce on me while I did floor exercises: Kaja and Molly seem to interpret a person on the floor as "she wants to snuggle" rather than "she wants to play pounce games." They are mostly indifferent to the resistance bands I bought to do my physical therapy exercises with. Kaja is never entirely happy with a closed door, but doesn't go after the elastic, just sits there waiting for me to finish what I'm doing and open the bedroom or library door.
