The disadvantage of using the building exercise room instead of having a gym membership is that there's less equipment (and nobody to ask for advice). The advantages include that it's open all the time. I didn't have to check the hours before working out Christmas morning.
Squats 3 sets of 15
Calf raises 3 sets of 15
Crunches 3 sets of 15
Biceps curls 15 pounds in each hand, 3 sets of 15. I'm pleased with this because I'd set the short-term goal of getting up to this by the end of the year, and have done it two workouts in a row without feeling over-strained.
Triceps pulldowns on one foot 22.5 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Lat pulldowns 45 pounds, 12 standing on each foot, then 8 each
Leg curls 75 pounds, 2 sets of 12 (also a recent increase, but increasing the weight on this has been easier, for some reason)
Chest presses 65 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Row 65 pounds 12, 60 pounds 12 (I'd been managing two sets at 65 pounds, but with some strain on the last few reps, so am trying this slightly lower weight for now.)
opposite arm/leg, 12 pairs

Re: tattoos
The first tattoo I got is on my L arm, a leaf which I like to show at work so that I can ask ecologists its Latin name. (They nearly always get it right.) A few years later I got the one in this userpic. After that it took about 20 years before I knew what I want next, but as mentioned upthread, that's been sort of thwarted. But only 'sort of' because while the artist I'd booked was deciding not to do a full armband, her shop-buddy suggested a different design and gave me the drawing. Now that it's clear neither of those artists will ink me I'm going to take the design to another tatshop. It's ancient maths, seen in temples throughout the world, so no copyright.
There are loads of body-art comms on LJ as you probably know.
