I am still working on the balance between trying to get back to my full routine and not overexerting myself. This morning I increased the number of different exercises by 1, again, and I didn't feel worn out by the end of the day, so I will call that a win.
On the weekend, I re-added one of my balance exercises, something I generally do in the apartment because the carpet here is better padding than the building fitness room offers, and as far as I can tell that was the first time I'd done it in this calendar year. I knew it had dropped out of frequent rotation, but not to this extent. From here on, I think (hope) it'll be a matter of increasing frequencies until I can do all my regular exercises at least once a week, and then ideally get back to twice a week for each. I suspect I will go back to the pattern of a couple of relatively long workouts a week, plus random bits of exercise at other times, things that are better done here than in the fitness room, or a little bit of exercise while waiting for a bus, rather than the more frequent shorter workouts that I've been doing in the last few weeks while/after recuperating from the really bad cold/ear infection.
This morning's workout:
Squats 3x15
Calf raise 2x15
Biceps curls 10# in each hand, 2x20
Lat pulldowns 35# 12 stand on each foot, then 6 each
Leg curls 55# 2x12
Chest presses 55# 2x12
Saturday:
Opposite arm/leg, 9 pairs (this is the one I hadn't done since last year, if my records are complete, which they may not be)
Hamstring bridge, my usual way, 3 sets of 9 ("my usual way" because I'd done two sets of a different and I think less-strenuous form of this a couple of days earlier, not realizing until after the first set that it was different).
