We got a couple of these at the supermarket last week, and just got around to trying it. Very crunchy, nicely tart and juicy, but the flavor could be more intense. Based on how crisp they are, I am guessing these were shipped from the southern hemisphere, rather than having been in storage for months. It's a taller and narrower apple than many, and I think would be heart-shaped in cross-section. Shiny skin, mix of red and green. I will probably buy these again, but probably won't make an effort to seek them out.

Think I've had cider made with these.
One of the UK real ale companies makes single apple variety ciders, and that one sounds familiar.

Are you finding that more apple varieties are available in conventional supermarkets this year than you're accustomed to? We are, here in the Denver area. So far Envy's probably the new fave.
