baldanders's new apartment. cattitude and I took the bus up there today, bearing bagels, salt, and roadnotes's copy of the latest apa mailing. (She had asked for bread and salt, and not only are the bagels the best bread we've found around here, but we are from New York.) Baldanders was a bit skeptical at first of Seattle bagels, then very pleased by the rosemary bagel. (Rosemary is not one of the canonical New York bagels, but it is an excellent extension to that canon.)
So we hung out and talked, and ate probably too many cookies (enough that I'm not sure I will have room for even a small supper), and the cable guy came and set things up, and Cattitude and Roadnotes assembled furniture. The trip to their new apartment is probably longer in miles than the trip to Wallingford, but might be shorter in minutes, because the bus to her new place is faster and runs more frequently.
