I have some muscle soreness that suggests I either overdid gym stuff this week (three workouts) or climbed too many stairs, mostly on the subway. Or both. My knees are significantly better than they were a year ago, and I am using some subway stations that aren't wheelchair-accessible (rather than limiting stairs as much as possible) but my leg muscles aren't properly used to stair-climbing. For values of "properly" meaning I get around by subway but live in an elevator building: call it eight flights today.
