I was running late, so did only a little cardio, and then she ran late, so I did the first few exercises before she got there.
Cardio, 10 minutes, top heart rate 150
Rolled out IT band etc.
Hamstring bridge, 4 sets of 9
Psoas, 3 with each leg
Squats, 3 sets of 15
[Emilie arrives]
Ab work on small ball, 3 sets of 10 (I waited for her on this, partly because I wanted to use that piece of her equipment, and partly because I wanted her to check my form.)
Calf raises, 3 sets of 15
Opposite arm/leg, 10 pairs
Lengthy game of catch standing on foam roller
Standing on half roller for balance
Lunges, 2 sets of {10 with each foot forward}
Biceps curl standing on bosu, 10 pounds each hand, 2 sets of 15
Rowing with elastic band anchored around Emilie's body (her idea), standing, 3 sets of 12. Did the second and third sets on one foot after I told her "this is too easy."
Triceps pulldowns, ditto, 3 sets of 12 (both feet on the floor throughout). The odd thing about those exercises is that tension/amount of effort is adjusted by stepping closer to or farther away from the person (or object, I guess) that the band is looped around.
Lat pulldown (round platform) 65 pounds, 2 sets of 12; 50 pounds, 12 on each foot
Hug a tree (square platform) 25 pounds, 3 sets of 12
Back exercise, 35 pounds, 2 sets of 12; 25 pounds, 12
