I just had a long and mostly cheerful conversation with elisem, with only occasional requests by one of us for the other to repeat something that had clearly been misheard. I had to remind myself that nodding doesn't work over the telephone, though. I may have to get to Minneapolis soon, so we can do this in three dimensions, with gestures and all that good stuff, and share food again.
