I had a nice thorough workout this morning. Then, subway down to Chinatown for lunch, and walked up to REI in search of sandals. I spent quite a while trying things on, with the help of a salesman who had a good idea of what sandals they had in wide sizes. (This was noticeable because when I walked into the area, he and a colleague both came over, and the other guy didn't know.) I tried on a few things, and came home with a pair that may or may do the job (the arch is a little higher than I'm used to). The salesman encouraged me to take them home and try them for a bit, including outside.

Then I came home, had some tea, and edited my resume (based on [personal profile] adrian_turtle's advice).
