At Adrian's suggestion, I went to the gym this afternoon, since I hadn't since Monday (11/21). I had been thinking of staying in, because I misjudged my available energy yesterday on a trip to one of the Harvard museums, but I calibrated better today, or had more energy to start with, and the workout seems to been good for my mood. No notes at the time.

No cardio, just the stairs up from street to locker room to the level I worked out on.
Hamstring bridge, 4 sets of 9
Squats, 2 sets of 15
Calf raises, 2 sets of 15
Some balance work standing on the foam roller

On the wooden platform:
Lat pulldown, 50 pounds, 3 sets of 13
Back exercise, 25 pounds, 2 sets of 12; 22.5 pounds, 12
Triceps, 22.5 pounds, 3 sets of 12

On round blue thing, biceps curls, 10 pounds each hand, 3 sets of 15 (third set with legs closer together than the other two)
Stretches
Psoas, 2 with each leg

From the stretch machine, I could see part of the sunset behind a few bare trees, and was reminded of [livejournal.com profile] papersky's recent post about that. I'm not making a particular effort to see sunsets, but it's worth noticing when they're in front of me.

Chai latte at Deisel Cafe afterward, instead of my more usual hot chocolate, because it was earlier and time for caffeine. And then a nice walk back to Mass Ave along a footpath that is technically a linear park, and bus back to Arlington.
