Andy took a look at me when he got home last night. He thinks I got too much sun yesterday. This morning, the only bit that looks red is my nose, but last night it looked as though other bits of my head--like the part in my hair--had also gotten too much.
Sunscreen doesn't work unless applied. As I dutifully did--to my legs--before leaving my gym yesterday. The problem is, all my hats have gone walkabout except the extremely battered green/purple/white batik one, which isn't much use anymore as a hat. I can still put it on my head, but it doesn't keep the rain off my glasses, or do much against the sun.
I could carry an umbrella, but I like having my hands free.
