I had another good workout yesterday, with a bit more new stuff on the balance: her tossing me a ball to catch while I stood on the foam roller. The first couple of times, I managed catch, return, and then had to step down to the floor; then something clicked and I did three or four back-and-forth cycles before needing to step down behind.


Cardio, 22 minutes, top heart rate 150
Hamstring bridge, 4 sets of 9
Ab work lying on small ball, 3 sets of 10
Squats with ball, 2 sets of 15
Calf raise with ball, 3 sets of 15
Standing on foam roller, including playing catch. The first times I stepped off to the front; then when we managed back-and-forth a few times, I was doing it by standing a little behind the apex of the roller, and needed to step off to the back.

Lat pulldown on balance platform, 3 sets of 15 (I think the machine was set at 30, but it was a different machine than usual)
Hug a tree, 8, then my elbow hurt, so I stopped and got Emilie to do a bit of massage
Triceps, 3 sets of 12
Biceps curls, 8 pounds each hand, 3 sets of 15 (on the blue squishy thing)
Finished my hour with a couple of minutes of massage specifically for the carpal tunnel

Last week, I did one brief workout at the hotel gym: the cardio gear didn't suit me, but they had some stuff I could use, including an exercise ball and one of those all-purpose resistance machines. (And then this Tuesday I just didn't feel up to working out, so came right home after work.)
