I think Thursday's new exercise was a mistake, based on how my leg felt Friday and still feels this morning (despite first naproxen and then a muscle relaxant). The new exercise was one in which I lay on my back and rolled a physio ball up the wall. It's supposed to be for the hamstrings, but the back of my left thigh wound up significantly sore (hills are worse than flat surfaces, and Inwood is quite hilly). This morning my knees are not happy; different bits connecting, I assume

Recording this here so I'm less likely to forget and do the same exercise again next week or next month.

As my mother pointed out on the phone yesterday, we try things, and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

That sounds like a severe hamstring stretch. One can get at similar body parts if you're on your back on a mat, controlling one foot with a gait belt or stretch band.

Ice! Ice!

BTW, I think I may have found glasses 1/3 as groovy as your new ones. Were they OGI brand?
