I skipped the gym last Thursday to have dinner with friends visiting from Minnesota, so this was my first workout in a week. I didn't do cardio, because the equipment I like wasn't available, just balance and weight stuff.
Rolled out the IT band and other leg fascia
Hamstring bridge, 4 sets of 9
Some balance stuff lying on the foam roll
That psoas thing, 2 on each side
Squats leaning on physio ball, 2 sets of 15
Calf raises leaning on physio ball, 2 sets of 15
Standing on the foam roll, not very successful (though I did get up there on about the third try)
Lat pulldown standing on the wooden balance thing, 35 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Pulldown standing on same, I think for deltoids?, 22.5 pounds, 12
Row sitting on ball, 35 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Biceps curls standing on the blue squishy dome, 10 pounds each hand, 15, 10, 15
Squats standing on same, holding balance bar, 7
Tried the hug-a-tree thing, back on the wooden balance platform, but I think I had the position wrong; gave up after 5
Stretches
Then I got my usual hot chocolate and walked up to Columbus Circle, since it's a nice evening.
