My left calf was still feeling a bit tense (from cramping Wednesday), so I modified the workout a bit. Hip ad- and abduction, at 100 and 90 pounds: 3 sets of 15 reps, got through them all this time (though the last couple of reps on the third set for abduction were a little iffy). A full half hour of cardio, nice and sweaty. Bench press, still at 45 pounds, but I got through all three sets of 15 reps this time. Well, with a break in the third set where I found myself thinking "breathe!", so I rested the weights and got back into sync on the breath. Adjustable row, 90 pounds, the first set with the handle anchored higher than usual (because that's how it had been left)., the second and thrid with it back at my normal spot. I then thought "crunches, that'll do for a break" so (surprised at myself) lay down on a mat and did some. Three sets of crunches; only one set of arches, because my left shoulder felt tender. Triceps pulldowns: 2x15 at 70 pounds with the straight handle, then swapped in a rope handle. Tried at 50 pounds, after 6 reps took it down to 40 and did ten more. I tried leg extensions, which don't work the calves, but only did about 15 altogether, because my knees hurt from the motion. (Something like 9, rest, about six more, then realized this was a Bad Idea.) So I did some biceps curls, but had to finish them one-armed because my left elbow wasn't happy; it feels very weird lifting 8 pounds in one hand, and 3 or nothing in the other.
