I had lunch with my mother today; she came up to where I work (which isn't that far from where she's staying) and we went to a deli that has seats; I got my usual salad, and she had salad bar stuff, and we chatted. It turns out she is not coming back in February, but in March or maybe April: in February she's going to India.

After work, I went to the nearby gym, and did a bunch of stuff, mostly with the foam roller or physio ball. I had to work around a sore shoulder, some, but the choices seemed to be low-level pain while exercising, or low-level pain without exercising, and the latter seemed likely to leave me grumpier. So it was either exercise, or come home and hide under the cat, and the cat isn't always amenable.


Squats leaning against ball, 3 sets of 15 (some fairly deep)

Rolled from sitting to a bridge 3 times; dip from bridge to floor and back, 4
Some standing on a half roller; I used a black half-roller that was denser/solider than the white ones I have been using, and kept my shoes on. One or both of these may be why it was more difficult than.
Standing on the foam roller, barefoot, without holding on; on one leg, with a bit of support from one hand, and briefly without it

Biceps curl sitting on physio ball, left hand only, 10 pounds, 2 sets of 20
Hamstring bridge (feet on roller), 10
