I do not like crowns. So far mine have all been in the way-back hinterlands of my mouth, which has been a drag, but thus far my nerves have been shy and gone away of their own accord without root canali, so that's been good. My insurance pays 50% for crowns as well which...is not enough. Good luck getting yours re-done! It is nice when the gaps get fixed; I had a problem gap for a long time and getting a new filling along that edge made everything pleasanter.
