That I am vaguely envious of people who can sleep past 7:30 doesn't by itself mean I should wake them; on the other hand, that doesn't mean I am supposed to leave them alone until noon when I have a train ticket for mid-afternoon.

adrian_turtle and I went to a pleasant party Saturday at sunspiral's, including good things to eat--it was barbecue, plus lots of us brought desserts, bread, salads, and such--and some interesting conversation, both with people I already knew (ckd, xiphias) and some I didn't, and didn't get names of, because I walked into an ongoing conversation. We rounded the evening off with a quick visit to xiphias, cheshyre, and their new kittens, before xiphias dropped us at the T station. That bit of the orange line provided a fine view of the full moon between buildings; had it been quieter, I would have called cattitude to say so.
