I have tickets to VNV Nation for July, for myself and liv. I also walked up Broadway from 33rd to 44th Street to get them, and there appears to be a great pent-up demand to sit in little chairs in what looks like the middle of the street, is currently a sort of set-aside area, and will be part of a several-block-long pedestrian mall starting next week.

You're wonderful, thank you! And wow, VNV Nation in New York, that is going to be one awesome experience. (Now I'd just better get organized to move myself to New York and register for the Drisha course.) Would it be more convenient for me to pay you back for the ticket now, or is it ok to wait until I'm in NY? If the former, can you email me to discuss a sensible way of getting money to you.

Isn't that little seating area totally odd? I couldn't imagine being that close to traffic and trying to have my coffee or something.

I very greedily want to go to both the NY and Montreal shows, but I dunno if that is going to happen.

It's not clear whether there's any seating; I suspect it may be like Irving Plaza, which has a couple of dozen seats, total. (Lack of seating is why I didn't also get a ticket for cattitude.)

And I am indeed puzzled by all the people sitting out there with drinks, though I suspect they're the same ones who sit on morning rush hour trains with cups of coffee.
