The smoke that
webbob mentioned in his journal has reached New York City. There's a "special weather statement" about it--that isn't a warning, just a statement, I guess so the Fire Department doesn't get 8 million calls saying "I can't see a fire, but I smell smoke."
It's dim, and gray, and we definitely smell smoke. With any luck, it will rain, and clear everything out a bit.
