Yeah, I always wondered how local they were to Waterloo/Ottawa.

*nod* Yale was also running some homebrew software from Waterloo at the time.

We had Gandalf boxes in the Physics computer lab at the University of Birmingham (England) in the early 1980s, but I don't know where they came from. I think they stayed around until we went to coaxial ethernet in the early 1990s.
