Again, passing something along from a comment in [livejournal.com profile] coyotegoth's journal: [livejournal.com profile] eleanor notes that with meds, they got his blood pressure down to the vicinity of 117/75, and while it's not entirely stable, the spikes are "high normal," and they are reducing the medication somewhat.

That's all I know for now; I will pass along any news as I get it, but watching this Making Light thread and/or Coyotegoth's journal would be a good idea, because you may be online when I'm not.

Yes, my fingers are still crossed, of course, but getting blood pressure under control is an excellent first step, and the other news from the day is also promising.

Still...I remember just how profound the effects of my mother's mild stroke were, and my concern kicks back in full force.
